This picture was from our second date. Ha, now we are married and it hasn't even been a year since this photo was taken. I suppose you want to know who we are? Here it is.

Tina and I have very different backgrounds even though we both grew up in California. Somehow, our love for food and travel, along with the need for more out of life brought us together
“We travel and we eat. Sometimes we travel just so that we can eat. Food is a lifelong journey and you never reach your final destination- Terrence Alinaghian-Green”
As different as we are, our core values are exactly the same. We are both readers, planners and have an innate desire to truly do our part as individuals to make the world a better place.
Terrence
Who am I? A chef, culinary enthusiast, wife, professional eater, food critique, gypsy, reader, writer, healer, lover and a hugger. I wear many different hats and maybe some more than others. Perhaps this blog will uncover more of my hidden talents. Why stop here? I was born in Berkeley, California and later moved to Alameda. When adulthood hit, or the sweet age of 18 I made the decision to move to Atlanta. I grew up in Atlanta. I failed and accomplished so much by leaving and navigating the world with no plan, little help and no guidance whatsoever. I depended on books, insight and a strong moral compass. I had to navigate my sexuality, people, careers and friends and I created the strongest family I have ever known. Berkeley was a beautiful place to start a foundation before navigating the rest of the world. I wouldn’t change my liberal, spiritual diverse background for anything or anyone. I am Berkeley through and through and it’s still my favorite place to be. Food is my life. It’s in heart and It’s how I communicate and heal myself and others. I welcome people into my home and my heart with nourishment that is meant to last and linger just like the perfect bite.
Somewhere along the way I was introduced to travel and at the time I had no idea how it would impact and mold me for the rest of my life. Through travel I was able to connect flavors with people I had never met. I was exposed to a new world of culture appreciation and language by way of taste. It’s how I connect, it’s my way of loving you. When I was a child, I sometimes thought I was just greedy, but I never had a desire to finish my food. I just wanted to taste it and get to know who you are a little better. This propelled my culinary journey as I would eventually attend culinary school to master this language, I was screaming to speak to anyone that would listen. Thank you for listening, clearly, I am doing something right here.
So this is me, Terrence Alinaghian- Green.
On my culinary journey with my wife Tina who is also my muse, my biggest fan and my partner.
